High Court of Justice

The court of unlimited civil jurisdiction comprising three divisions: Queen’s Bench, Chancery and the Family Division. The Administrative Court, a specialist division of the High Court within the Queen’s Bench Division, has supervisory jurisdiction over first instance extradition decisions handed down by Westminster Magistrates’ Court. The Court may sit with a single judge or as a Divisional Court, consisting of a Lord Justice of Appeal sitting alongside a judge of the High Court.
