It is reported that Pakistan’s anti-corruption watchdog will file more references against its former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, who along with his family is subject to a wide-ranging investigation into his conduct during his time in office. According to the reports, the new references will be filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) once more company records allegedly relating to Mr Sharif have been received from the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia under mutual legal assistance requests. Pakistan’s Supreme Court has also instructed the NAB to open a criminal case against the former Prime Minister and his family.
