Former Autonomy CEO Mike Lynch appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 19 October 2020 where a date was set for the hearing in the ongoing US extradition proceedings against him. Mr Lynch, who faces charges of conspiracy, securities fraud and wire fraud in the US in connection with the sale of his company Autonomy to Hewlett Packard in 2011, is expected to resist the US request over the course of a five-day hearing scheduled to take place on 8 February 2021.
Mr Lynch is still awaiting judgment in a £3.3bn UK civil fraud suit brought by Hewlett Packard which concluded earlier this year.
